Kids Chef

The Kids Chef programme, for ages 6–8, was created for school-age children who are developing an interest in cooking and their own food preferences.

Its main aim is to teach good cooking skills and help children change less beneficial eating habits.

Children learn to cook and create meals and sweet snacks using fresh ingredients adapted to their tastes. Through hands-on cooking, they discover good, balanced nutrition.

The programme includes a 1.5-hour cooking session and, optionally, a two-hour Food & Art creative food activity, exploring food through visual arts and group activities.

*Individual sessions are also available, with payment per visit.

  • To cook, bake, knead, cut and mix
  • To handle ingredients correctly
  • Meal categories: breakfast, morning snacks, mid-morning snacks, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner
  • To distinguish between cooking, pastry-making and baking recipes
  • To practise fine motor skills safely in the kitchen
  • To develop cooperation and communication

The programme is led by a creative cooking facilitator (educator) and the school’s Chef.

Children spend their time enjoyably and creatively, preparing dishes themselves and tasting them at the end of each lesson.
